Our best endorsements come from satisfied patients like Carrie Dugan. After going to numerous chiropractors over 11 years, she still suffered from spinal problems — until she came to Exodus Chiropractic in 2011.
“My spine, hips and neck are significantly better over just this first year than I imagined they would be,” she says.
“After seeing the X-rays, I know why. After a car accident many years ago, I didn’t realize that I had reverse curve in my neck that can take years off your life if not corrected. Now, I have an almost completely normal forward curve.”
Best of all, she saw these improvements without taking any medications (even aspirin) or suffering any pain. Carrie calls this one of the best investments she ever made in life, both for her overall health and well-being and her husband’s.
“I cannot think of another place of business that is more supportive and Spirit-filled, and that genuinely cares for their patients,” she says.
We received a similar stirring testimony recently from Righ O’Leary, founder of an international ministry that cares for orphans. At the age of 4, his son, Keenan, was diagnosed with asthma and GERD and placed on seven daily medications, including an inhaled steroid.
Keenan’s breathing grew progressively worse. Two years later, the once-active boy couldn’t play with friends and had rapidly-diminishing self-esteem. He couldn’t get out of his parents’ sight for fear of having an attack.
“When my son was suffering with severe asthma, chiropractic care was the last option I thought of,” Righ says. Finally, he took Keenan to a specialist, who said the boy needed an esophageal biopsy to rule out the possibility of a disease known as EED, and surgery to correct a rare lung problem.
When the family decided to get a second opinion from a pediatric specialist at Vanderbilt University, that doctor came back with the same recommendation.
After Righ shared his concerns in a Sunday school class, a friend mentioned Exodus. Following much prayer, they came to see us.
Within a week of starting treatments, Keenan was off his inhaler. Within two months had dropped his other six medications. Keenan no longer has asthma or GERD problems and is the normal, energetic boy his parents remember before the problems started.
“God truly uses Dr. Pete in a tremendous way to heal those who are afflicted,” Righ wrote in a letter to our office. “It has been seven months and God has continued to use him to ensure Keenan remains healthy and off his medications.”
As Righ says, we serve a God of miracles, so I will give the credit to Him for such amazing stories!
